Guy Hudson Electromagnetic Developments

Guy Hudson is an experienced physicist and engineer who is passionate about reducing electrosmog, not least, because he is electrosensitive. Guy was a speaker at the Get Wired 2015 Conference.

Here is one of his presentations.

Guy Hudson Electromagnetic Developments

Guy as CEO of Beneficial Environments is a leading surveyor and designer of low electrosmog environments. He has been trained by, and works with, leading Building Biologists in the UK and Germany. He is actively involved in developing cutting edge solutions that reduce electromagnetic pollution for electrosensitives and the general population who wish to reduce their exposure and risk.

He deals with a wide range of suppliers in Germany, China, US and UK to provide designs based on hard science and innovation for existing and new build environments.

Why WiFi should be minimised in schools

Dr Erica Mallery-Blythe, MD explains why WiFi should be minimised in schools.

An increasing number of concerned parents and sometimes staff from schools are contacting Beneficial Environments for advice on mitigating the health risks of WiFi, and asking for a survey to be conducted at their schools.

If you are a concerned parent we suggest you contact your school head, and if necessary, lobby with other parents for a electromagnetic survey to be carried out.

TEDx Talk: Wireless

Jeromy Johnson is Electro Hyper-sensitive (EHS).

He used to work in Silicon Valley in the United States and become very ill when Smart Meters were introduced where he lived. He then became sensitive to other sources of EMFs.

In February 2016 Jeromy gave this excellent presentation at at TEDx talk in Berkeley, California.

The solutions he puts forward are in line with what we recommend at Beneficial Environments.

Are cell phones and wifi signals toxic?

Are cell phones and wifi signals toxic? This question was posed by celebrity A-lister Gwyneth Paltrow on her website Goop.

It’s almost impossible to remember a time without smartphones, which makes it equally easy to forget that the technology is still relatively new, with safety requirements that, for the most part, are generally untested. The scientific community’s rumblings about brain cancer and the new-to-us affliction “electro-sensitivity” are worth exploring, at the very least, so we tapped three experts in the field—Dr. David Carpenter, Ann Louise Gittleman, and Devra Davis—to help us understand the complicated and messy world of cell phone and WiFi safety.

Gwyneth Paltrow: Are cell phones and wifi signals toxic

As predicted by Professor Victor Newman here – fashion and celebrities will play their part as the world adjusts to the new reality of lost electro-innocence.  We saw another celebrity last year, Noel Edmonds making the headlines with his views on Electrosmog.

The answer to Gwyneth Paltrow’s question is almost certainly yes as more and more research is showing this to be the case.

At Beneficial Environments we have solutions to reduce this exposure to electromagnetic pollution we can also perform an electromagnetic survey of your home, office or clinic.

Getwired 2015: The Loss of Electromagnetic Innocence

Getwired 2015: The Loss of Electromagnetic Innocence

The recent GetWired2015 conference sponsored by Beneficial Environments was a response to concerns about the proliferation of wifi and mobile phone technologies.
The conference objective was to find and promote solutions to the problems arising both in terms of how to protect and shield vulnerable groups such as children and the aged but also how to encourage new safer products to be made available.   In contrast to many conferences focusing on the health effects, we have looked at solutions to the problem of widespread electrosensitivity and increasing electromagnetic pollution.
This is the first video release from Get Wired 2015.
Get Wired 2015 was organised in association with Stop Smart Meters! UK.
Professor Victor Newman, the conference chair, is an expert in motivating organisations to innovate.  He speaks about how new, safer technologies will become available to us all.  He sees that fashionable new products will play their part as the world adjusts to the new reality of lost electro-innocence.
We do hope you enjoy his talk about how organisations will respond to the need to reduce electromagnetic pollution.

Please feel free to share the video.

Electrosmog Survey

In this video Guy Hudson, physicist and electrosensitive talks about what Beneficial Environment does when they carry out an Electrosmog Survey.

We conduct surveys in homes and offices, in areas used for sleeping, working and resting. We check the levels of electromagnetic fields and compare them with those recommended by the Institute of Building Biology, Stetzer Electric and others.

It is a practical, tried-and-tested approach, based on well-established science and gaining from decades of experience of electromagnetic (EM) surveying.

The survey of a typical home (office and commercial premises will differ) will include (where appropriate and feasible) checks for :

  • radio/microwave fields (mobiles, cordless phones, wifi, cellmasts)
  • ‘dirty’ electricity (transient variations in the voltage and frequency of the mains)
  • earth live and neutral being connected
  • extra low frequency electric and magnetic fields
  • geomagnetic anomalies
  • geopathic stress
  • induced body voltages

We can recommend ways to for you to reduce your exposure to excessive pollution, while doing everything possible to retain full use of your electrical equipment.

As part of our professional approach to electromagnetic surveying, we hold professional indemnity insurance.

We also offer a design service to help establish an electrically calm and healthy environment in new buildings.

Get Wired Too:  An Electrosmog Conference in Sussex on Sunday 1st November

Beneficial Environments and Stop Smart Meters are jointly hosting an electrosmog conference in Bolney, near Haywards Heath on Sunday 1st November.  Join us for a day of presentations and expert panel discussions with scientists, medical doctors, academics and researchers, on the implications of wireless technology and electro-pollution and the steps you can take to protect yourself and your family.

Why I believe that attending Get Wired 2015 is so important and why its focus is right for its time — it is about how we get to safer, healthier living.  By our conference chair, Prof. Victor Newman PhD

As an innovation specialist with a personal interest in the health risks associated with ‘electrosmog’, it is obvious to me that playing adversarial victim games is unlikely to deliver the systemic change that we require.  And, in an age of increasing digital connectivity, it is also obvious that this change must engage telecoms and electronics companies in making safer products.  Change in both respects is both necessary and inevitable.

Corporate politics tends toward investing in expensive, defensive behaviours to maintain market share; by attacking critics instead of by innovating, by generating doubt over science instead of by creating competitive advantage through new, safer and superior products.  The present path is one of ignorance, denial and short-termism; whilst the path we need to take involves informed, long-term thinking and responsible, leadership.

It could be that the fear of class action lawsuits destroying shareholder value in companies and national prestige is holding much of the industry back.  It could be that for a long time, directors at Volkswagon — at the highest level — felt that they had no choice but to continue their emissions test charade — because to take responsibility, to admit to it and to take action would expose them to charges of complicity, personal liability and consequences.

And so our strategy vis-a-vis artificial EMF pollution now, must be to help these industrial turkeys adopt intelligent and enlightened forms of self-interest — by helping them to vote for a new kind of Christmas, and to collaborate by becoming part of the solution.  To do otherwise is to hold onto an unsustainable, irresponsible and obsolete past, the grip on which becomes weaker with every new, peer-reviewed scientific journal paper.

We must demand, inform, and help, industry to take the initiative, and to change current product standards — without waiting to be forced by statute or scandal.  There is simply too much at stake.

I hope you can come.

Tickets are £20 or £10 if you have a low income.  Lunch is an optional extra at £10 each.  It will be vegan curries and salads provided by Mama Ghanoush of Hurstpierpoint.
